Just semi plotted a route I hope to take next year in June to the Pyrenees and looking for suggestions of roads to take and places to see and maybe stay. My 2 wheels is an LML 200 4t which is similar to a Vespa PX but with a four stroke engine. I have ridden it twice to Italy, Pisa and Venice being the end destinations but this time will be riding alone as I want to enjoy it and not be responsible for other people and their stupidity. Also this journey won't have any real fixed points as want to take it in and relax and have 3 weeks to get there and back.
Thanks in advance for any tips and hints
Also how do you alter the route on the map?

Hi, only piece of advice that comes to mind following a couple of trips to the Pyrenees is choose to stay on the Spanish side. You can easily cross back and forth, but I found the spanish hotels were cheaper and the weather better.

D618 from Tarascon sur Ariege.

Stay at Hôtel Confort

3 Quai Armand Sylvestre, 09400 Tarascon-sur-Ariège, France
They are bikers and speak good English or French
Secure garage parking, just ask, plenty space.
Loads of places to eat or drink.

Avoid Andorra, boring and tatty.

Spanish side N260 from Ripoll to Jaca.

NA137 Spain to D132 France a great road over the border.

Probably pick up twisty roads from Toulouse, maybe Castres, Carcassone, Limoux, Quillan, Tarsacon....

Gets you off motorways and Perpignan is busy.

N roads will have a higher chance of speed cameras, though if on UK plates probably less issue. N roads will have heavier traffic. I live in France now so need to take more care.
D roads are the ones in France. Check them out with Google street view.
