A lovely 10 mile (16km) ride through a stunning Redwood Forest. Lovely sweeping bends and lots of places to stop to see the trees. I have a video of my ride along the Parkway at https://youtu.be/a_V4WNSAesQ
day 5
Second leg
Really enjoyed this forest road. Lovely selection of curves.
Amazing, I love this part of California, massive forests, mountain scenery and fantastic curve combinations. Biking heaven
Quite pleasant route for both riding and sight seeing up to and around Crater Lake NP. Check the weather, it can be cold/foggy/raining/snowing at Crater while sunny just a few miles away. Little traffic early or late in the season, can be crowded during holidays or when school is out. The road around Crater Lake is breathtaking from the western entrance, but gets the road surface gets progressively worse as you ride clockwise around the lake as part of the rim road is closed during the winter months and therefore ends up with more weather damage to the surface. Be sure to take the road to the Pinnacles which has to be seen to be believed!
fun ride
this can be a 1 day ride or make 2 days
Nice versatile route, for all kinds of bikers and some nice curves.
Very nice turns and nice scenery.
Really excellent road with fantastic nature and corners.
Lots of tight turns, not advisable to try in bad weather.
Pleasant scenery and nice riding
Running north into and through the forest this wonderful road winds through some great scenery
Fantastic twisties through the Klamath National Forest. Route starts on the Oregon side of the border and goes south into northern California
