beautiful slow pace ride
A nice ride for a Sunday by yourself or with a group of buddies.
Great run lots of turns and straight aways. There are areas you could imagination hear banjoes, but its doted with small towns and burghs. Great fall colors.
Low volume of traffic, good road surface and nice selection of curves.
Quite nice curve combinations.
Up and down road with lots of nice corners and views.
Gentle sweepers with some smooth elevation changes through the forest, running nicely (as so many of the best roads do) alongside the river (albeit far below :-)), follow this up to East Hickory and join the 666.
Variety of sweepers and some tighter corners with a couple of nice little straight bits.
Quite built up in places but that at least means there are plenty of amenities. Otherwise quite a nice ride along the water.
Nice varied road with good surface.
Some up and down sweepers along the river into New York. Best to avoid at peak times if possible because of traffic
Amazing scenes and lots of wildlife. Watch your speeds around Wellsboro and anywhere down in the valley along 220.
Excellent road sufface from Snowshoe to Renova but lots of rubber neckers and wildlife so go slow and enjoy! Also no gas stations between those towns so fill the tank whenever the chance arrises.
Austin Dam is really cool history, spend some time there.
A really good selection of technical sweeping and tight hairpins in the forest with very little traffic with a particularly rewarding downhill twisting section stuck in there for good measure, great for sports and sports-touring machines. Be warned through, some of the turns can catch you out! Great Riding, enjoy
