Great road, good visibility, nice surface and good combination of bend make this a winner in my book, try it out. Good for sport bikes
Can Be incorperated inro a Devils Bridge run if you like. When you get to Sedburgh you can turn onto A683 and it takes you right back to Kirkby Lonsdale. Cracking run and you can get to the famous Buttertubs Pass from Hawes as well!
A great road that offers everything. Great scenary, good selection of corners and some nice fast straights. Really a very good road, can be some police and occasionally busy, but otherwise highly recommended
The Kirkstone pass, a great road with some very nice corners
Only done this once but enjoyed it tremendously. Most of the road surface is excellent but there is a 5 mile stretch where you have to watch it a bit. There were some police on this road but then there had been a car crash!
Take the A590 out of Barrow, follow signs for Askam and then Broughton, Torver, Coniston and ambleside. cafe in centre of coniston for a brew.
Very demanding but highly rewarding ride. Belach na Baa is very steep and twisty but the views are stunning and the ride from Applecross round to Sheildaig is very twisty and with some abrupt changes in elevation. Not the best for sportsbikes but a naked or big trailie can really get a wriggle on!
Although a lot of this route is on single track A roads with passing places they are well surfaced and open so that you can see for miles.Utterly brilliant and if the weather is good you will never want to leave
Lots of nice straights with a few nice corners thrown in. A nice high speed run, not much in the way of police presence normally, but be aware that there may be the occassional speed trap
Ive done this route a few times and it is pretty damn good. Plenty of bikes out and about but relatively low police presence. The A7 is a fantastic road on its own but adding the rest just makes it a great route
